Originally built in the 1950s with a European - Provençal influence, this uniquely special home offered a quietly compelling foundation for Becca and her family to call home.

The renovation involved a comprehensive reworking of the interior, with floors and walls taken back to the stud in order to thoughtfully reimagine the space. Drawing on English influences, antique beams salvaged from a dilapidated Philadelphia building were introduced to the living room, framing an Italianate marble fireplace that now anchors the space. In the powder room, an antique stone trough offers an unexpected yet architectural feature.

A soft, muted palette paired with white oak floors runs throughout, lending continuity and warmth as one moves from room to room. A formerly undefined secondary space was gradually refined to be a childrens room, evolving over time to find its most purposeful and natural use within the plan.

The result is a home layered with history and quiet intention. One that feels grounded, enduring, and welcoming.
