Historically home to New York artists for many decades, this 4th floor walk up in the heart of SoHo, Manhattan found a new lease of life as the home of a young professional couple. What started as a vacant railroaded loft space was carefully curated into an apartment designed for comfort. With a quickly favored monochromatic palette the space is warmed with the celebrated occasion of raw wood and plush textiles. The incorporation of a large photograph by Petros Koublis in the living room rings true to the apartments artful history, and unabashedly compliments the surrounding tone. What once stood as a voided artists studio has now been refreshed, whilst still embodying its original and untempered old soul.
